The Etowah Carnegie Friends of the Library was presented with a collection of works by Kimberly Willis Holt, a National Book Award recipient and an author at this year’s Young Authors’ Conference, during their monthly meeting on May 19th, 2011. Holt’s books will be added to the Children and Juvenile collections. Website Kimberly Willis Holt is well known for her Piper Reed series as well as perennial favorite My Lousiana Sky. Other works include When Zachary Beaver Came to Town (a National Book Award winner), The Adventures of Granny Clearwater, and Skinny Brown Dog.
